On Saturday, May 11 we'll go the Dayton Aviation Heritage Museum and the United States Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. The Dayton Aviation Heritage Museum will present an understanding of the history of aviation before we go to the Air Force Museum, which is a large display of aircraft technology developed over the past century. It features many actual aircraft.
We'll depart at 7am on May 11 and arrive at the Dayton Aviation Museum at approximately 10am. We’ll plan on staying at this location for about an hour before going to the Air Force Museum. We'll tour the museum from around 11:30am - 4:30pm, including a break for lunch at the museum cafeteria. On the way home, we'll stop at a restaurant for dinner. We plan to be back to Purdue at about 10pm.
Purdue students and their spouses are welcome to join this trip (no children).
Cost: $15/person for transportation. Bring an additional $30 to pay for lunch and dinner.
